"So, tell me about yourself."

I am an actor and singer, born to an Irish-American father and Filipino mother.

I always start off by saying something along these lines because it explains a lot about who I am. I grew up around two very different cultures and I was raised by parents who could not have been more opposite (think middle-aged frat boy Dad who doesn't take bullshit from anybody and a little, conservative Filipina Mom who likes to stay home and garden).

As a result, I'm a little bit of both of them.

I have become a young woman with a very diverse world inside of her. I'm warm, but I'm strong. I'm the life of the party, but hard-working and driven. I'm elegant but with an edge. I also think coming from two very different backgrounds is why I am so compassionate to all kinds of stories and why I yearn to share them.

Get a front row seat to the sidelines of the world’s most famous magical journey. Follow the story of a young wizard named Wayne and the Puffs–a group of well-meaning, loyal rejects with a thing for badgers–in this laugh-out-loud comedy that’s “the Potter play you've been waiting for!"

Puffs’ exudes a jovial, winking fondness for all things Harry. For Potterphiliacs eager to revisit that world, that’s enticement enough.
— The New York Times
Puffs is, quite simply, hysterical. For Potter fans, it is both a love letter to the series (and the nineties) as well as a knowing spoof of all the ridiculous plot points and shenanigans that go down at Hogwarts.
— Mashable
Puffs is a must-see for any Harry Potter fans, regardless of House.
— Hypable
So fans of Harry Potter, his friends (and enemies) and their adventures, then, will likely be charmed by Puffs, a new Off Broadway Potter parody/alternate story of sorts that’s packed with knowing winks to its source material and has a heart all its own... B+
— Entertainment Weekly
As surprised as I was by how much I laughed at Puffs, I was all the more surprised at how it actually moved me.
— Nerdist

Look for ... Ms. Earls ... on stages all over New York.

Press for Romeo & Juliet

(Actors' Shakespeare Project, Boston)

Julie Ann Earls makes a sprightly Juliet, more ardent and moody than is sometimes portrayed, and with more backbone than one would expect of a cherished only child usually dutiful to her parents and nurse.

Her articulation of the Early Modern English poetry Shakespeare writes is exceptional.”
— Edge Boston
But the revelation of this production comes with Juliet, skillfully portrayed by Julie Ann Earls... With Earls’ earnest portrayal and the unflinching focus of this production, her suicide seems all too rational.
